Procedure:
i - By using NASTRAN DECK connect all the bolt connections which are necessary.
ii - Use clustered RBE2 for bolts have to be connected.
iii - To connect the mirrors first create the fearture line
iv - Afeter creating the feature line convert the feature line into 3D points.
v - After converting it prease go tothe connections manager and create the connection between the mirror and the door rubber stribes.
vi - Connect all the bolt areas with required connection procedures.
vii - Create spot and seme welds in the required areas.
viii - Use spot welds in the areas where less amount of load is acted.
ix - Use seme welds in the areas where heavy l;oads are acting
x - Connect the door handle with RBE2 cluster.
xi - Connect the door hinges.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
a) By working on this side door model , I learned many tools to handle.
b) I learned to use boolean operations, property id & material id.
c) I LEARNED TO DELETE AND REFLECT THE AREAS.
d) I learned to insert and delete hopt point & many ANSA tools.
e) I learned about the quality criterias.
f) I learned many methods of meshing the model.
g) I learned to make connections in the complicated areas.
CONCLUSION:
The given side door model is connected completely.
