Week 4- Challenge

Creating 1D elements on the following component with given cross-section and DOF

procedure:

* go to file and import the model which is in igs or step format

* one's model is imported we wil extract the mid surface and we will delete the solid surface by clicking on the delete surface and we will left out with only midsuracfe of the model and we will go tools and click over the organise and we will move the mid surface

*then go to the 2d elements and mesh the model by clicking on the auto mesh ones meshing is completed make sure that meshing is properly

* then go to the rb2 elements and click on the nodes and select the calculated nodes and click on the nodes by path and create the rb2 elements and simillarly fallow the same procedure for rb3 elments also

* ones rb2 and rb3 elemnts are created then we will create bar and beam and rod by clicking on the icon

*assign the property and cross section for the bar ,rod and the beam

*at the poins d&e we willa apply given mass and we join both of them through the spring elments as show in the figure
