Week 4 - 2D Meshing for Sheet Metal
Steps followed:
1) Geometry checks and geometry clean up after doing topo checks for all the components individually.
2) Midsurfacing done using the offset and midsurface function for all the components.
3) PID set along with thickness for all the midsurfaces
4) Geometry checks done for all the surfaces and then unnecessary cons, hotpoints removed from the geometry.
5) Adequate lenght set for all the macros
6) Meshing created with best mesh option with proper mesh flow.
Details are shown in the screeshots.
GEOMETRY CHECKS AND CLEAN UP COMPONENT WISE AND IN ASSEMBLY DONE AS SHOWN IN THE FIGURES BELOW.

As shown in the above screeshots and the shots attached below along with this file the meshing of the components has been done, after midsurfacing and adding adequate thickness to the surface. Before messhing mess parameters and quality criteria has been set according to the guide lines provided in the question.
