Week 3
- AIM: The main objective of the given component is to clear the errors and disintegrate the component extract the midsurfaces with fine meshing within the given quality critera .
Procedure: first imported the model into the ansa
- checked for the geometrical issues if there are any errors like triple cons ,cracks .needle faces i have auto fixed it.
- converted all the triple corns into double cons by using relase and topo option.
- divided the component parts into seperate view so that it will not be easy for meshing.
- suppresed unwanted geometrical lines so that it will not disturb the mesh flow.
- created the mid sufaces for all the parts by giving the definite thickness , by using maual midsufaces method.
- I have given the quality citeria values for the component and also the mesh parameters .
- meshed the component element by element so that it will give smooh meshing with out quality failure .
- removed the trias near to feature lines and the corners by using swap,join,split command .
- reduced the tria elements by using reconstruction and usd smooth command so that it will give fine meshing
- created seperated property for parts so that it is easy to find difference between parent and child object.
