Challenge

Week 2 Challenge : Surface meshing on a Pressure valve

Firstly I start this challenge with patched the defective surfaces like holes.

I use new surfaces with the help of 1. existing surfaces, 2. Planner, 3. Fitted, 4. Coons, 5. fill holes.

I use the Loop option while I select all coons at the same time.

after completing the filling then I cut the small length (L<5mm) for good mesh.

I assigned different PIDs for all parts such as the Body, Inlet, outlet, Valve head, Spring, and Column.

and last I start Mesh with 5mm, 3mm, and 1mm, Taken Elements type:- Tria

A 1mm Mesh is a good mesh. more fine results and the Spring surface are more smooth and more precise.

1 mm Mesh is a good mesh because the spring is a small element as compared to other parts so Mesh Length should be less than the length of the element for better results.
