Week 10- Assembly Workbench
1. QUICK RETURN MECHANISM ASSEMBLY
The Quick return mechanism is the inversion of a single slider crank chain. The main purpose of this mechanism is to convert the rotary motion of the crank into the reciprocating motion of the ram. This mechanism has a different velocity of ram in the forward stroke and in reversed stroke. In this mechanism, the movement of reverse stroke is faster than the forward stroke. The mechanism is generally used in applications where the velocity of the tool at return stroke is not considerable. Therefore the faster movement of the ram, during reverse stroke helps to reduce the total machining time.
The parts are crearted in part work bench as per the dimension given in challenge and after complete all 5 parts, there are assembled together by assembly tools and finaly those are drafted.

2. CV ( Constant Velosity) JOINT ASSEMBLY
Constant-velocity joints are mechanical joints which allow a drive shaft to transmit power through a variable angle, at constant rotational speed, without an appreciable increase in friction or play. They are mainly used in front-wheel drive vehicles. The CV joints are needed to transfer the torque from the transmission to the drive wheels at a constant speed, while accommodating the up-and-down motion of the suspension. In front-wheel drive cars, CV joints deliver the torque to the front wheels during turns.
