Week 10- Assembly Workbench

Procedure:

1. Part Creation -

a) Each part were created with proper geometrical set using positioned sketch.

b) All sketches were iso contrained.

c) Boolean operation was used to achieve the part.

2. Axis Creation:

a) Reference axis were created for part which requires coincidence assembly of circular areas.

b) All reference elements such as plane, point, axis were published for individual parts.

3. Assembly :

a) Assembly was created using CAT product.

b) A reference part was created within CAT product and a point was also created to determine center position of assembly workbench.

c) Each part of specific assembly was to bought using existing part command.

d) Constraints such as coincidence, offest were used to constraint the part.

4. Drawing : A template was created for drawing and same was used to create drawing for assembly and part. The files were saved with respective names.

5. Drawing: The drawing with individual sheet was created for an assembly and its parts.
