Case 1: Plate with Hole

The model is created with the following dimensions,

Length=300mm
Height=120mm
Thickness=30mm
Circular Hole at the center:
Diameter=60mm

Boundary conditions:

Material : Structural Steel

Fixed end:

Meshing :The mesh size of 2mm

Results : The plate with hole of the Max. principle stress is 0.04488MPa

Case 2: Plate with Holes

smaller holes 90mm away from the center:

Diameter=30mm
Boundary Conditions:
Plate fixed at left face.
Load of 500N on the right face.

Boundary conditions:

Material : Structural Steel

Meshing : The mesh size of 2mm

Force : apply 500N

Results : The plate with holes of the Max. principle stress is 0.041618MPa
