Week 1 - Free Falling
AIM:
(1) Simulate and plot free falling body with mass 1Kg and direction of the gravity should be in -ve y-direction.
(2) Does mass and inertial properties of the body depend on rate of fall.
(3) In what case mass have an effect on rate of fall.
THEORY:
A free falling object is an object that is falling under the influence of gravity.

Now, newton's second law of motion,
F = ma;
where F = Force (N)
m = mass
a = acceleration due to gravity.
Now, during free fall without consider air resistance.
a = F/m;
a = mg/m,
a = g ----------------------------(1)
From equation (1) we can say that their is no influence of mass during free fall, when we not consider air resistance (drag).
Now, Free fall with air resistance,
a = F/m;
a = (W-D)/m; -------------------(2)
Where, W = mg,
D = (Cd*rho*V^2*A)/2. Resistance(Drag)
Hence, from equation (2) we can say that, when we consider drag, then we need to consider mass of an object.
PROCEDURE:
(1) Firstly we need to create a body.

(2) Then change the unit, according to the question, Now do gravity ON and give the value in y direction.

(3) Now, change the property of the body. Mass = 1, Inertia properties y = 1.

(4) Then, we need to use run command, where we need to give end time 2 second .

(5) At last we need to plot a graph.

(6) Now, for verify the influence of mass on object without consider air resistance. In second iteration mass is 90kg.
In below image we can see that is in no change in graph after change in mass.
