Unsupervised Learning - Kmeans Week 11 Challenge
Q1. How does similarity is calculated if data is categorical in nature.
Ans. Similarity measures assigns value between two data instances X and Y belonging to the data set D as follows: S(X,Y)=∑₁ᵈwₖSₖ(Xₖ,Yₖ) Here wₖ is weight assigned to each attribute and Sₖ(Xₖ,Yₖ) is a similarity score function for kth attribute in the given two instances of the data set i.e, X and Y.
Q2. Implement K-means for “Car dataset” and come up with the business insights.
Ans. Machine learning(ML) is an area of a AI that has been a key component of digitization solutions that have attracted much recognition in the digital arena. ML is used everywhere from automating and do heavy tasks to offering intelligent insights in every industry to benefit from it. The current world already using the devices that are suitable these problems.
