Its rarely used in automotive underbody coating process . its is two type of layer of coating first layer is rubber and second layer is wax . thickness of the layer coating is much higher . It major used in ice and salt road surface vehicles. The cost of such coating generally higher then a normal coating .

Asphalt Underbody coating :

Asphalt based coating is much better than the wax underbody coating . Its help for anti rust protection underneath body and high noise cancellation towards passenger compartment .
