Under body Coating provides long term protction from corrision to the vehicles ubderbody. It also protects parts like internal body panels, frames rails and other inner cavities that are not physically accessible but are prone to corrision.
Under body coating is a thick cladding that is placed uniformly to the cars underside. When the automobile is fresh off the lot and spotless, it is usually sprayed or painted on. But it's acceptable even after couples of years later.

- Wax Based Under Body Coating ; This transitory underbody coating will on ghe whole fade away after a few month. On the plus side wax based coating is resistance to clampness. It is also the most cost effective alternative .
- Asphalt Based Under Body Coating ; suitable for lorries, trucks , other heavy vehicles. This gives a higher level of protection. Asphalt based coating incorporate a small quantity of rubber for sound insulation.
- Polyurethane Ubder Body Coating ; This covers seals, breakes and fractures in the vehicles underbody. It provides strong corrision resistance and also binds tot the metal.

Cons of Under Body Coating ;
- Underbody Coating works best on the new vwhicls that have not been exposed to the road conditions. Undercoating will not help if corrision already exists and the corrision need to be removed before applying undercoating.
