Sketch a G+1 residential plan according to Vaastu Shastra and Calculation of Loads as per IS code
Aim 01 :To sketch a G+1 residential plan according to vaastu shastra.
Result : the two attached images shows the residential plan of G+1 floor according to vaastu shastra
Aim 02 :To list the required structural drawing required in site for construction
Procedure : below are the list of structural drawings required at site
- Center line marking/grid lines
- Footing layout and reinforcement details
- Column layout and column schedule
- Floor plans
- Framing layout ( beam and Slab drawing) and sections
- Beam reinforcement details
- Bottom Slab drawing
- Top Slab drawing
- Lift details
- Sump details
- Terrace plan and sections
- Electrical drawing
- Plumbing drawing
- Shear wall drawing (if present)
Result : the list of required drawings are mentioned above
Aim 03 : calculation of loads of the members for the attached drawing
Assume the following dimension
Size of column :0.23m×0.45m
Size of beam : 0.23 m× 0.45m
Wall thickness : 0.23m
Height of wall/column : 3.5m
Loads :
- Dead load of column = 0.23×0.45×3.5×25=9.05kN
- Dead load of wall per meter = 0.23×3.5×20=16.1kN/m
- Dead load of beam per meter = 0.23×0.45×25=2.58kN/m
- Dead load of Slab per sqm = 0.15 × 25 × =3.75kN/m^2
- Live load on living/dining, bedroom, toilet kitchen, store = 2kN/m^2
- Live load on staircase, terrace = 3kN/m^2
- Live load is taken form IS 875 part 2
- Wind load is not considered in this case as Height of building doesn't exceed 10m
Result : the load occurring on the building is calculated
