Sketch a G+1 residential plan according to Vaastu Shastra and Calculation of Loads as per IS code

AIM : Drafting a Residential Plan of G+1 floors according to the Vaastu Shastra.

Introduction: The designing and drafting the residential house, emphasizing on the vaastu shastra. Alongside of the plan, a set of essential structural drawings will be provided to the construction site, detailing the layout, dimensions and specifications.

The structural drawings that are provided to the site are:

  1. Centre Line Drawing
  2. Footing and Column layout with reinforcement details
  3. Column Schedule with reinforcement details
  4. Plinth Beam Layout with reinforcement details
  5. First floor beam layout with reinforcement details
  6. First floor slab layout with reinforcement details
  7. Head room reinforcement details

Calculating of Loads:

Load= Unit weight density* Volume

Deadload:

S.W due to Column (0.23*0.45)= 25*0.23*0.45=2.58 kN/m

S.W due to Beams (0.23*0.45)= 25*0.23*0.45=2.58 kN/m

S.W due to walls (3m height)= 25* 0.23* 3= 17.25 kN/m

Total Deadload= 22.41 kN/m

Slab Dead Load (150mm thickness) = 25* 0.15= 3.75 kN/m^2

Floor load: 2kN/m^2

Unknown load : 1.5 kN/m^2

Total Area load = 6.25 kN/m^2

Live Load= 2 kN/m^2

Combination of load =(DL+ LL)*1.5
