Calculation of loads:-
Assumed sizes of column,beam and slab are:
Column size is 500mm*500mm
Beam size is 300mm*600mm
Slab thickness 150mm.
Calculations of loads per m^3
Column load calculation:
Self weigth=volume of column*unit weigth of RCC
=(L*B*H)*25kg/m3
=(0.5*0.5*1)*25
=6.25kg/m3
Self weigth of column is=6.25kg/m3.
Beam load calculation:
Beam size=(300*600)
Self weigth=volume of beam*unit weigth of RCC
=(L*B*H)*25kg/m3
=(0.3*0.6*1)*25
=4.5kg/m3
Self weigth of beam is=4.5kg/m3.
Slab load calculation:
Slab size=(1000*1000*150)mm
Self weigth=volume of slab*unit weigth of RCC
=(L*B*H)*25kg/m3
=(1*1*0.15)*25
=3.75kg/m3
Self weigth of slab is=3.75kg/m3.
