Sketch a G+1 residential plan according to Vaastu Shastra and Calculation of Loads as per IS code

Sketch a G+1 floor residential plan, according to Vaastu Shastra, and list down the names of the structural drawings required to be provided to the site for construction.

Also, assume the sizes of the structural elements (Column, Beam, Slab, etc.,) and accordingly calculate the individual corresponding loads from the members as per IS code.

Ans:
Structural drawings required to be provided to the site for construction
  1. Columns center line drowning
  2. Footing size , septic tank and water tank .
  3. Footing and columns BBS
  4. Plinth BBS
  5. Columns BBS upto lintel .
  6. Beam and slab BBS
  7. Electric wire

G+1 building

Kitchen =SE, not NE

Pooja room=NE

Bed room= SW

Living room=NW

Guest room = NW

Under ground tank = NE ,not SW

Main door = N,NE,E...

C1 (600 * 600). 4 no

Assuming height of column = 3 m

Volume of concrete = 0.6*0.6*3 = 1.08 m3

Unit weight of RCC = 25kN/m3

Self weight of column = 1.08*25 = 27 kN

27*2= 54 KN

C2 (300 * 600) .2 no

Assuming height of column = 3 m

Volume of concrete = 0.3*0.6*3 = 0.54 m3

Unit weight of RCC = 25kN/m3

Self weight of column = 0.54*25 = 13.5 kN

13.5*2= 27 kN

B1(200*500) .1no

Volume of concrete = 0.2*0.5*1 = 0.1 m3

Unit weight of RCC = 25kN/m3

Self weight of column = 0.1*25 = 2.5 kN

2.5*2= 5 KN

B2 (300 x 600). 6 no

Volume of concrete = 0.3*0.6*1 = 0.18 m3

Unit weight of RCC = 25kN/m3

Self weight of column = 0.18*25 = 4.5 kN

4.5*2= 9 KN

* Slab 150mm thick 10*40M
10*40*.015= 60 m^3
Unit weight of RCC = 25kN/m3
Self weight of slab = 25 * 60= 1500 KN .
1500*2 = 3000 KN
We r not using wind load as the structure is below 10M
IS code 875 part 1,2,3 are used
1.2DL+1.2 LL+1.2 EL load combination..
