Sketch a G+1 residential plan according to Vaastu Shastra and Calculation of Loads as per IS code

Important structural drawing:

> centre line drawing

Centre line to all columns in the drawing and c/c between two centre line

used to mark columns and footing, for excavation marking

> footing and column layout

size of footing, marking pcc

> column schedule with reinforcement details

section of footing (standard) and reinforcement details of each and every column and footing schedule

> plinth beam layout

columns are connected to plinth beam and grid of the beam and details of reinforcement, cutout , floating column etc.

> succeeding floor beam layout , first , second …

> reinforcement details of slab

One way slab two slab sign, cutout

>lift drawing

pit depth and headroom, reinforcement details

Slab Thickness = 125mm

Columns = 0.3 * 0.3 m

Beams = 0.3 * 0.45

Height of wall = 3.5 m

Thickness of wall = 0.3 m

Density of RCC = 2500 kN/m3

Density of Brick Masonry = 20 kN/m3

LL taken as per Is 875 (part: 2), (Table: 1) = 2 kN/m2

DL for slab = 0.125*25 kN/m3 = 3.125 kN/m2

FF for slab = 1.5 kN/m2

Total Load = (2+3.125+1.5) = 6.625 kN/m2

Total Factored load on slab = 6.625 * 1.5 = 9.9375 = 9.94 kN/m2

And, self-weight of Beam = 25   ×   0.3   ×   0.45 = 3.38 kN/m

Self weight of column is

25   ×   0.3   ×   0.3   ×   ( 3.5   -   0.45 ) = 6.86 kN
