Section Modulus calculation and optimization

section modulus :

section modulus is a geometric property for a given cross-section used in the design of beams or flexural members. Other geometric properties used in design include area for tension and shear, radius of gyration for compression,and second moment of area and polar second moment of area for stiffness.

In this challenge we have learnt how to calcluate the section modulus of a hood and how to do the optimaztion of the hood design. Ways for optimaztion of hood:

• Increasing the thickness of the material
• Icreasing the emobess
• Increasing the geometric dimensions between the flanges and outer panel

we have optimized our panel respected to the increase in geometric dimensions between the flanges and outer panel.
