Radar Mast & Final Assembly of Yacht
REPORT OF AMERICAN CHOPPER
AIM & OBJECTIVE:-
- To learn the solidWorks interface and simultaneously sketch or model the parts of YATCH , apply appearance & materials.
- Do assembly of modelled parts to get the YATCH.
- Do the ASSEMBELY and rensdering of yatch.
INTRODUCTION
SolidWorks is a mechanical 3D CAD (computer-Aided Design) software used to create 2D &3D models. It helps to design products better, faster, and more cost-effectively.
In this we learn about surface feature and 3D SCKETCH thr part that we make in yatch its uses
COMMON TOOLS USED IN MODELING OF CHOPPER
- PLANE:- Here the section view of the model is to be sketched.
- SKETCH:- It gives the work base to create 2D & 3D sketches.
- SMART DIMENSION:- By using this easy to provide the dimension value to the sketch to get the desired shape
- FILLET:- It provides round shape at corners edges.
- CHAMFER:- It provides sloping edges at corners.
- EXTRUDE SURFACE: used to get surface from sketch
- Relove surface: it relove the sketch into surface by selecting the axis of rotation
- Swept surface: it give closed surface by following sketch path
- Offset surdface: used to get the out line of the selected sketch
- Knit surface: it gives the sketch gap and tolerance
- Extend surface:it used to extend the surface
- Filled surface: used to fill the gap
- CONVERTS ENTITIES:- Using this easy to get sketched into the other plane or same plane with the same dimension value.
- OFFSET:- It adds 3D sketches on faces.
- SHELL:- The shell tool hollows out a part.
- EXTRUDE BOSS/BASE:- Used to get a solid body in one or two directions.
- REVOLVED BOSS/BASE:- Used to revolve the sketch with the reference of axis or lines in the solid form.
- EXTRUDE CUT:-Used to remove materials from the solid body.
- SWEPT BOSS/BASE:-It proved solid body by closed profile along an open and closed path.
- PATTERN:- It features the object in a particular direction or path.
- PROJECTED CURVE:- It combines two 2D continuous curves into a 3D curve.
- TRIM:-It is used to cut the extra line of the surface.
- APPEARANCE:-Using the can get a different look & apply different materials.
- DECALS:-Using this tools painted stickers to be applied.
- VIEW (HEADS-UP):- Following command comes under this:-
- Zoom to Fit
- Zoom to Area
- Previously view
- Section view
- View orientation
- Display style
- Hide item
- WIREFRAME
COMPONENT OF YATCH:-
- BLUEPRINT SETUP
- PROPELLER
- RADAR
- HULL
- GARAGE DOOR
- REAR SEAT
- FORNT SEAT
- MIDDLE SEAT
- SUPERSTRUCTURE
- RADAR MAST
- ASSEMBLY
BLUEPRINT SETUP:-
Browse the sketch from folders and give its properties

PROPELLOR:-
The propeelor are used to move the yatch

HULL:-
It’s the lagrge area where the living area are created and meachine part are kept

GARAGE DOOR:-
It product yatch from outdoor climate changes.

SEAT:-
The place were we rest and relaxes ourself

SUPERSTRUCTURE:-
It is made up of strong materials, located in the lower portion of the chassis. It is used to provide support to the whole body while resting.

RADAR MAST:-
it indicates the near by object

ASSEMBLY:-
In the assembly part, all individual parts inserted into assembly tools of solidworks. Fix one of the components into the work base. Proved mates and relation reaming part to the fixed one with respect to line, vertex & planes.
While do assembly keeps remembering that + sing indicates that parts are over defined and – sing under-defined. Solidworks have very friendly tools. While assembling if pats get oversized or irregular shape can be edited in an assembly work base.

RENDERING:-
It is a very important part because of different materials, colours, etc to be applied to assembly one. Here, the product to be seen under environmental conditions with different views.
