Project
A) Thermal behavior is the behavior of a material under varying temperatures. Thermal conductivity, Thermal expansion or contraction, and Thermal stress are the key parameters in thermodynamic efficiency and emissions of internal combustion engines.
Thermodynamic efficiency increases with the use of materials with low thermal conductivity, low thermal deformation, and low thermal stress.
Emission of emissions of internal combustion engines will decrease with the use of materials with high thermal conductivity.
Advancements in materials science will allow the use of better materials in engineering applications with less thermal losses and more thermal efficiency.
B) The design of the internal combustion can be optimized in multiple ways to improve performance and efficiency.
i) Downsizing the engine and usage of Turbo
ii) Optimizing the Engine breathing
iii) Improvements in Fuel injection
iv) Improvements in the Exhaust treatment method
v) Effective usage of exhaust gases by charging or recirculation methods
