AIM
The aim of this project is to analyze the dataset to know the Supply and Demand of the honey production company in different years.
INTRODUCTION
A supply and demand of any company describes how changes in the price of a resource, commodity, or product affects it. This project is about the honey production, demand, and supply across different states of and supply across different states of the USA from 1995 to 2021.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
- We have to find out the total honey produced by the different countries by 1995 to2021.
- Finding the production rate per sales and top countries with highest price and top countries with highest stock.
METHODOLOGY
- Data cleaning: the dataset had some missing values by using transform data I have replaced it with 0.
- Data interpretation: after replacing null with zero, the dataset contains 9 columns and 1152 rows.
- Data has been cleaned and ready for visualization, to create visuals I have used power bi desktop software.
ANALYSIS
- Top 10 states by stock.
- Top 10 states with high price.
- Production per year.
- Production per state.
- Value of production by state wise.
INSIGHTS
- The state Virginia has highest price for honey.
- North Dakota is the state which has highest production of 513M.
- 2008 was the best year for honey production with highest production of average 351M.
- South Dakota contains highest stocks with 219M.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the Insights gathered from the analysis, here are some recommendations:
- States with the lowest sales should make stratergies to increase the sales.
- As from the above insights we can see that production has been decreasing year by year, should increase the production with respect to demand.
CONCLUSIONS
- in conclusion, we analyzed the US honey production dataset across different states of US and identified the factors that influence the honey production. North Dakota ,south Dakota California and Florida are the main states for honey production, the main keys trends to follow are, rising awareness, growing use in different industries .
