Project Title: Gender Bias in Science and Technical Field Dashboard
This project focuses on creating a dashboard that empowers mission-driven organizations to harness the power of data visualization for social change, specifically addressing gender bias in science and technical fields in Tamil Nadu, India.
The dataset used in the dashboard contains information on the literacy rates in Tamil Nadu, distributed according to cities and their ranks, including the population breakdown by gender.
The dashboard provides insights into the status of each city in terms of literacy rates and shows the scholarship/beneficiaries each state is receiving. The data includes information on different institutions and the number of teachers available.
The goal of the dashboard is to address the gender bias in science and technical fields by highlighting the literacy rates of women compared to the total population, and identifying potential areas for improvement.
The dashboard is designed to look like an article predicting the basic issues and uses appropriate tiled and floating sheets wherever possible.
