Project Summary: Quantities Ordered by Country (2019-2021)

This project focuses on analyzing the quantities ordered by different countries during the years 2019, 2020, and 2021, broken down by quarters. The primary tool used is an Excel Pivot Table to simplify and summarize the dataset.

Key Steps:

1. Data Preparation:

   • The dataset includes fields such as Order Date, Country, and Quantity Ordered.
   • New columns for Order Year and Order Quarter were created to enable the analysis by year and quarter.

2. Pivot Table Creation:

   • The Pivot Table is set up by:
     • Placing Country in the rows to show data for each country.
     • Adding Order Year and Order Quarter in the columns to break down the orders by year and quarter.
     • Using the Sum of Quantity Ordered as the value to show total quantities for each country and time period.

3. Analysis:

   • The Pivot Table provides an overview of how order quantities vary across countries and quarters.
   • The data can help identify trends, such as countries with the highest orders or changes in ordering patterns over time.
   • Additional tools like Slicers and Conditional Formatting can enhance interactivity and visualization.

This analysis helps businesses understand geographic trends in ordering behavior and quarterly performance, supporting better decision-making in inventory management, marketing, and distribution strategies.
