Fender Design

Fender is a part of an vehicle body that frames a wheel well,
its purpose is to prevent mud, sand , stones , liquid to enter into engine compartment
Usually there are two types of fender
full bumper type and half bumper type
full bumper type have large blank size so cost is high so for cost reduction we mostly use half bumper type

some important points to consider while designing fender
Drip area, baffle mount, body side mount, sill mount.
