Creation of geometries by Coordinate system methods using AutoCad
AIM and INTRODUCTION:
To draw the given examples in AutoCAD using different coordinates method by using the tools like line and circle command.
PROCEDURE:
Step by step procedure for draiwng the given examples in autocad is:
1) Open the autocade application from the desktop.
2) Open a new drawing from the start-up option
3) Select the imperial units instead of metric units.
4) Save-As the file with proper name at the required location.
5) open the units setting by typing the command “units” then enter.
6) select the type = engineering and units to scale = inches then press ok
using the absolute coordinate system:
7) Use the line command by typing simply “L” enter.
8) Type the coordinates (2,1) then the line will be starting from the (2,1)
position.
9) Then type the respective coordinates given for the respective examples.
10) Finally you will get the required figure.
