Basics of ML & AL Week 2 Challenge
2A-Expected value is the average value of a random variable over a large number of experiments . A random variable maps numeric values to each possible outcome in an experiment. The significance of the mean of a probability distribution is it gives the expected value of a discrete random variable.
3A-High skewness means a distribution curve has a shorter tail on one end a distribution curve and a long tail on the other. The data set follows a normal distribution curve; however, higher skewed data means the data is not evenly distributed.
Skewness is the measure of the asymmetry of an ideally symmetric probability distribution and is given by the third standardized moment.
In simple words, skewness is the measure of how much the probability distribution of a random variable deviates from the normal distribution.
5A- From the about normal disturbution we can say
Approximately 68.3% of the values with in 1 standard deviation of the mean.
Approximately 95.5% of the values with in 1 standard deviation of the mean.
Approximately 97.7% of the values with in 1 standard deviation of the mean.
