OIL TANK

1) I started my sketch by opening a new part file and changed its units to (MMGS) ,now for my convenience. I changed the front plane to midplane . By selecting the top plane I started creating a sketch by clicking on the 2d sketch icon .
2) By selecting a center line. I drawn a line from origin to the left and I added dynamic mirror to that line later by selecting midpoint line, i have drawn a line perpendicular to the line with the given dimensions and drew another line to the top and by taking curser back to that end point. I started drawing an arc and connected it to the origin and gave relations to the respective line and arcs . Now the sketch is fully defined and then exit sketch.
3) I extruded my sketch to 110 mm in direction 1 and 10 mm in direction 2 . Now I started drawing a sketch at midplane and drew a line parallel to that vertical line of the origin and drawn another line perpendicular to the line I just drew and I drawn another line to the top left and exited the command. Now I have taken spline tool and drawn a line from the ending point of the previous line nad connected it with top right side line and exited the command. I gave them all the relations and dimensions according to the given standards and then exit sketch .
4) I have selected extruded boss /base and kept my direction 1 as through all and deselected merge results option and then ok . Now I\'m left with two solid bodies. Then I selected combine feature and kept my operation type as common and selected both solid bodies and then ok .
5)Now I changed the appearance of my solid body by simply going into appreance >painted >car >Siena then ok . Now I applied fillet to the body by selecting all the edges and kept my fillet radius as 10 mm then ok and changed my appreance of the edge fillet by giving them white colour .
6)Now I applied shell feature by just selecting the face of the body and then ok . Then saved my part .
CHAIN
1) I started my sketch by opening a new part file and changed its units to (MMGS) and changed my standard planes as midplane , centre plane and front plane . Now I started my sketch at midplane by drawing a reference line at the origin with the given dimensions. I have a drawn two circles at both ends of the line for the sprockets positions for my chain model. Now by using a 3 point arc I joined both circles on both top and bottom ends and gave them tangent relations. Now I trimmed the excess lines by using trim entities and gave them dimensions and the sketch is fully defined , exit sketch .
2) Now for designing a chain . I\'m gonna need a lot of parts which are similar to each other so I\'m creating my parts in the midplane and started sketching by taking a line for construction and gave it dimension and I drawn two circles on both end points and gave them equal relation, now by using 3 point arc I joined the circles at top and bottom ends near to its vertex points and gave them tangent relations and dimensions as well . Now I trimmed the unnecessary lines and the sketch is fully defined . I\'m drawing another sketch by using a line tool I have drawn a line and placed two circles at the both ends of the line and gave them equal relation . By using alot tool I have drawn a slot with the given distance . Now I have both inside link and outside link and I made them as my sketch blocks by using make block option and saved them in my folder for future use and named them as chain link 1 & 2 .
3) At midplane I started using my blocks by inserting them from my folder in the part file that I\'m using now and started placing the chain links near the sketch I have drawn before. Now I took the centerpoint of the first link and placed at vertex of larger sprocket and the remaining point of the chain link 1 is given relation with reference line as coincident . Now I took the second link and made it concentric with the first link and made the other coincident relation . Now extruded the pins by select contours and kept midplane as direction 1 with 25 mm depth and then ok . Now selecting sketch and selected the regions that I wanted to extrude , I extruded link 1 by keeping offset with 9.5 mm in direction 1 with 2 mm depth as blind and selected contours then ok . Now I again selected sketch for another extrude and extrude link 2. where I kept it from the vertex and selected the inside point of outside link and reversed the direction and deselected merge results and then ok . Now I applied 0.5 mm fillet to ends of the pins and then ok.
4) Now by using curve driven pattern I selected the larger line and selected the bodies and gave the number of parts I needed and kept it before the vertex point of the smaller sprocket and then ok . No that I have an arc as my reference line So i inserted a new block parts from my folder into the part file thatt I\'m using, because I having the link 2 as my last link from the previous curve driven pattern now I took two link 1\'s and one link 2 for this pattern and started by placing the links together by giving them concentric and coincident relations and just as I did previously and began to extrude the pins by selected contours and kept midplane as direction 1 with 25 mm depth and then ok . By using fillet tool and curved the edges of the pins and again selecting sketch and extruded the link 1 by clearing selected contours and selected link 1 from vertex with 2 mm in direction 1 and not using merge results and then ok by using the same process I extended the remaining parts as well ,by again using the required curve driven pattern and extruded the required number of parts and then ok .
5) The next step will be again selecting the sketch and extruding the parts which I brought from the block folder and repeating the same process for both the lower arc of the chain and larger sprocket curve as well.
6)After I\'ve done my last curve driven pattern I have found that my final chain link which is meeting that starting point of the larger sprocket vertex is not alligened properly. So I deleted that chain link and manually drawn a chain link at midplane by using convert entities and also by using alot I have drawn an chain link and extruded it.
7)Now I have kept all my pins in one folder and all the chain part files in another folders . Now by selecting mirror from features tab. I selected the parts that I wanted to mirror then kept mirror face / plane to midplane and then ok. Now I applied appearance >metal>chrome>chromium plate and then I saved my part .
PEDAL

1) I started my sketch by opening a new part file and changed its units to (MMGS). Then I started sketching on my front plane. Now I selected line tool for construction>midpoint line and began to draw a vertical line at the origin. I again selected line tool and drawn two horizontal reference lines, along with that I have drawn two more non construction lines at the previously drawn reference lines and applied relations, dimensions for all of them. Now I drawn a 3 point arc at the end points of our reference lines and applied tangent relations. Now I am left with a fully defined sketch. By selecting line tool I have drawn two lines on both the upper end point of the line to the lower end point of the line to the bottom and gave them dimensions as well as relations. Now I drawn a construction line in the top right corner of the same plane and gave dimensions with respect to my sketch.
2) I added circles at the centre point of the arc with two circles and gave them equal, horizontal relations and added dimensions. I drawn another circle at the bottom and gave the dimensions as stated. Now I drawn one more circle at the top right corner near to the top line and gave them dimensions.
3) I took spline tool and started drawing my upper spline from the top point of the previously drawn sketch and joined that with top line end point. Now I gave the spline tangent relation with the line and the upper part of the spline is now can be controlled by using spline handle and I gave its dimension as 15° angle along with 250mm weight. The lower handle weight will be 200mm. Now adding spline for the bottom point and I repeated the same process again. Now by activating spline tool again I started drawing from the bottom point and attached it to the top line end point and gave the tangent relation to the bottom end of the spline. Now by using the spline handles I gave the dimension as 35° angle and 245mm weight and the lower handle weight will be 545mm. I also done fillet to the top and bottom points of the sketch with 60mm as fillet radius and kept my corners constrained ok, exit sketch.
4) Now by using extruded boss/base I used select contours and selected the sketch along with the holes from the sketch plane I kept my direction 1 as blind with 8mm depth and then ok. Now by selecting sketch 1 again I did another extrude by selecting contours, selected my two bodies and then extruding them from sketch plane. I kept my direction 1 in blind opposite direction with 20mm depth and kept merge results on and then ok. now I used fillet to bore bodies along with the outside face as well as inside face and kept my fillet radius as 1mm and then ok.
5) Now selecting my sketch>top plane. I started using a construction line and drawn a midpoint line as reference and also drawn a new line just as suggested and gave it dimensions and relations then exit sketch. Now by using revolved boss/ base I revolved the sketch and kept merge results on and then ok.
6) Now by adding dome feature on the end of the pedal by using dome tool and selected the face with 3mm dome and then ok. Then using fillet I have done fillet for the end of the dome. By using sketch the remaining two holes by keeping selected contours, extruded them from outside surface face/ plane with 100mm depth and then ok.
7) Now using chamfer option> distance distance with a distance of D1 16mm and D2 10mm and then ok and did the same to the other parts. Now coming to the detailing of the foot pedal I started creating a sketch from the front view. Where I took the outer edges of the 3 bosses and done a offset entities for 2.5mm then ok. Now I extruded the sketch from offset 20mm with direction D1 as 2.5mm and then ok. I added fillet to the ring faces and completed my fillet.
8) I applied line pattern by selecting edges of that ring with a spacing 20mm apart and also added number parts to be produced and then ok. Now I applied fillet to the remaining unfinished parts and then I saved my part.
