STRETCH RATIO CALCULATION

Aim - Odgen materialmodel was provided in the form of .k file ,And it contain the explicit behaviour of material in it.; We have to generate a model with bolck dimenssion As provided ,And we have to create a boundary condition to create a behaviour of stretching.

-CONTENT - PREPROCESSING - ELABORATION OF KEYWORDS.

* By using modeling tool in the L-S prepost A block was created with the dimenssion of 10x10x10 mm .

* Then the block (solid) was meshed by meshing tool with the normal element size of 1x1x1 mm such that there are 100 small cubes were meshed during meshing.

* In this waythe discretization of geometry was made.

* two node set was created 1) lower nodes. -for specifying the spc boundary condition (constrained nodes)_

2) upper nodes. - Applying prescribed displacement by using load curve ID\'s.

* Section - solid -keyword is defined inside the keyword manager ,to specify the element formulation of solid in the part keyword.

* WE HAVE TO RUN ANALYSIS BY CHANGING THE ELEMENT FORMULATION -2 -1 1 2 AND CMPARE THE STRETCH RATIO AND STRESS GRAPH.

* load curve id is defined to define the movement of nodes in the positive Z direction.

* control termination (end time )= 0.1 milli sec.

output request -

BINARY D3 PLOT =5E-4 MS

GLSTAT =5E-4 MS

MATSUM = 5E-4 MS

SLEOUT = 5E-4 MS

RESULT -

1) PLOT WITH ELEMENT FORMULATION 1

2) PLOT WITH ELEMENT FORMULATION 2

3) PLOT WITH ELEMENT FORMULATION -1

4) PLOT WITH ELEMENT FORMULATION -2

Conclusion- The plots related to different element formulation wasillustrated bellow. allthe plots are following the proportional limit .and obey\'s hooke\'s law.

but the plot for element formulation 1 and other three plot having elastic strain diffrentiation .
