Interpolation Schemes:

Interpolation uses two points with known values to estimate unknown values at other points. Interpolation is used to estimate values of volume integrals at non-nodal points in FVM.

Flux Limiters:

When calculating gradients, flux limiters are used to keep the values bounded. This due to sharp flow problems and discontinuities in the solution domain. Flux limiters are used in high resolution schemes for solving PDEs.
