Meshing of cylinder geometry using ANSA

Steps for meshing the given cylainder geometry:-

1. Download the geometry from the given link and intilize it in ANSA.

2. Use the ideal view for the given geometry which is enabling PID mode and shadow mode.

3. Use the geometry check option in the ANSA to find and correct any errors present in geometry such as overlapping or other such errors.

4. Now create the various sections for the geometry so that the CFD analysis can be carried on it by using set PID option in the ANSA tool box in the right hand side.

5. These secitions are Inlet, walls and Outlet. Below are the images of the respective Inlet, outlet and wall boundaries that are alloted for the given geometry\"Inlet\"

\"Outlet\"

\"Wall\"

6. Now we have to shift to the mesh mode in ANSA and use the parameter tool box to provide the required the divisions in the length for the mesh creation to carry on the discritization of the geometry.

7. This is done by first clicking the length in the parameter option and then select the entire geometry by making a box with the left click and then use middle click to get the tool box which asks the number of divisions in the length tab.

8. Now give 1 unit in the length tab and then click on OK button.

9. Now go to the mesh generation and then click on small arrow near it to get hidden tool box and select spot mesh.

10. Under options of spot mesh select triag in element type and leave the reconstruct on.

11. Now draw a box around geometry and then use middle mouse button to create the mesh for the geometry. The final mesh of the geometry is as given in the image below.

\"Mesh\"

This completes the meshing of the given geometry.
