Meshing of Cylinder using ANSA
1.Geomtery:
- Geometery is imported in the ANSA from open option from file menu.
2.Meshing
- Select PID option from the bottom part of the menu.
- Now Go to presentation parametres and check the checkmark on the Draw cons,mid mode, like in ENT mode.
- Click Apply and then OK.
- Now Go to Faces option from the topology menu and select PID mode and select faces.
- Click on Perimeters and then length option and insert size of 1unit.
- Now after selecting faces go to Mesh option and select spotmesh option and reconstruct.
- After that select the model and hit the middle mouse button to generate the mesh.
- Closed View from the mesh is shown below:
3.Conclusions:
- From the above plots,Mixed spotmesh is generated for element size of 1 unit
- Final Check Results are shown below:
- From the above plot it is seen that there are no errors, hence mesh generated is ok.
