Performing batch Meshing on Sheet metal object.
__________________________________________________________________
Aim: To Create 2D batch mesh on hood and fender surface in HyperWorks.
Model - 1
Process:
- We have to mesh this given Hood model with the target element size of 5mm.
- We also have to follow the below-mentioned quality criteria, mesh the component given below and assign thickness.
- We will start Batch meshing with the outer surface of the hood.
- As we can see the hood surface is exactly symmetric to the other side.
- We will use the reflect option to reflect the symmetric mesh on the other side.
- We follow the same steps here as well for inner hood panel batch meshing and reflecting it.
- After reflecting we do the quality check and assign thickness.
- So in this way completed our hood meshing with quality check and thickness 0.75 assigning.

Model - 2
Process:
- We have to mesh this given fender model with the target element size of 5mm.
- We also have to follow the below-mentioned quality criteria, mesh the component given below and assign thickness.
- We will start Batch meshing with the fender.
- So in this way completed our fender meshing with quality check and thickness 0.75 assigning.

Conclusion: In This report we understood the batch meshing of complex geometry and thickness assigning process.
