Visualization of different sizes of surface mesh on pressure valve in Ansa

objective :-

Meshing of pressure valve model by unit mesh size of 15units ,7units, 2units to generate this meshing first geometry clean-up is required first after that mesh is generated.

geometry clean up steps

  1. obeserve model in wire frame select pid ( from Drawing style toolbar) and select shadow mode to visualize better the part .
  2. select check option from tools and perform geometry checks .
  3. now select coons from (module button toolbar faces section ) to repair that all single coons which on surafce.
  4. now making one pid region as valve and spring
  5. use intersect option to merge that spring into valve and now thriple coons is generated
  6. that red marked area should be delete in order to merge that spring into valve
  7. after deleting that inner intersected surface of spring delete that triple coons also.using universal delet option by selecting that triple coons
  8. then use universal delete option to this below part that is at below of merged part of spring
  9. after deleting it triple coons is produce like below image
  10. select it and delet it using universal delete option

meshing using mesh size as 15 units (use of spot mesh button to generate mesh)

meshing using mesh size as 7 units (use of spot mesh button to generate mesh)

meshing using mesh size as 2 units (use of spot mesh button to generate mesh)

conclusion-

By observing all 6 figures are above one can conclude that as numbers of grids are increase on line the geometry visualization gets better and contour surfaces looks more curvier.

By decreasing meshing size (rectangular like surface which solely contor but because more mesh size visualize as rectangular ) parts are more like what they are solely made and its analyze on spring like cylindrical surfaces.

Better mesh size here is 2 units and its take more time generate also.
