Creating different types of 1D elements with given cross-section and DOF

Objective:

• Creating 1D elements on the given component with given cross-section and DOF.

Procedure:

• 1^st import the parallel bracket file into the hypermesh
• Extract the midsurface of the given component
• Go to quick edit to add washer splits
• Press F12 to automesh the given component
• According to given data RBE2 and RBE3 link were created
• Go to 1D hyperbeam create BAR, ROD, BEAM of required dimensions
• Apply the mass of magnitude of 10mm to RBE2 link
• And join two components with spring elements.

Conclusion:

• In this challenge we understood how to create the 1D elements
• Also understood RBE2 and RBE3 links.
