The plot on the right is using cantera and it shows much less AFT than manual calculation of AFT. This is because of the assumption that all the Carbon atoms will react to form CO2 as products but in reality lot of products are formed like CO or OH or other products. So the AFT decreases with increase in products.

The plot shows that alkynes have the highest AFT for the same number of carbon atoms.
The reactivity increase with increasing unsaturation.

Higher the number of carbon in the Hydrocarbon, more the reactivity is and higher is the AFT.
This is the reason why heavy machinery use high carbon diesel as fuel.
