AIM
The aim of the challenge is to 3D mesh the given models to the given parameters.
OBJECTIVE
- The geometry given is a solid component.
- The given geometry is of non uniform thickness.
- The meshing is done from 2D mesh and then it is converted to 3D tetramesh.
- The meshing is done the surface of the geometry
- Then the meshing for each part is done.
HOUSING
- The geometry is imported.
- Then the geometry clean up is done.
- The geometry is then laid to meshing.
- Initially the 2D meshing is done.
- Only tria elements are selected.
- The tet collapse is specified.
CRANK HUB
- The geometry is imported.
- Then the geometry clean up is done.
- The geometry is then laid to meshing.
- Initially the 2D meshing is done.
- Only tria elements are selected.
- The tet collapse is specified.
CHASIS ASSEMBLY
- The geometry is imported.
- Then the geometry clean up is done.
- The geometry is then laid to meshing.
- Initially the 2D meshing is done.
- Only tria elements are selected.
- The tet collapse is specified.
- The component is symmetrical.
- The mesh is done on one side and it is reflected.
CONCLUSION
THe challenge enrolls with 3D meshing which iks predominantly meshing from 2D to 3D , the meshing is done with only tria elements and there is no extraction of midsurfaces and the solids are deleted. The 3d MESHING is also done on volumetric 3d mesh.
