In this project, you will be provided with a CAD model of Car spare wheel holder. Modeling of the same component is to be done by extracting mid surface and meshing the component by achieving all the mentioned quality criteria parameters.
You will be provided with an CAD model of an IP substrate component. Modeling of the same component is to be done by extracting mid surface and meshing the whole component by achieving all the mentioned quality criteria parameters.
Here, you will set up a reduced car model and perform a frontal crash analysis using HyperMesh software and solve the model using RADIOSS solver. The model is checked for intersections and penetrations. Errors are debugged and the model is simulated.
In this project, you will perform the 2D meshing for the Plastic component present in the Car Model. Basically, plastic parts will be provided in the Car in order to reduce the weight without compromising the safety of passengers. In the same way, the Car side door model will be made up of Plastic component. To perform any analysis in the model, the first task is to discretize the part into a finite number of elements which is called Pre-processing or Meshing. HyperMesh is used for pre-processing side door and make the model ready for any Analysis.
