About the Instructor:

• Amarendra is a Biomedical Optics Engineer, with 11 + years of experience in biomedical research and product development. He is specialized in Biophotonics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe, Germany. His interests are developing Innovative low-cost Imaging products for Non-Invasive diagnosis, He was previously associated with national laboratories such as DEBEL, DRDO and CGCRI-CSIR focusing on the R&D of wearable smart medical technologies. He was awarded two research grants from DST entitled “Laser Speckle Contrast Imaging system for Post Occlusive Reactive Hyperaemia (PORH)” and from SERB ``Design and Development of Photoacoustic Imaging System”. He was instrumental in developing a High-Speed Tandem Lens Fluorescence Macro Imaging system at Sirota Lab, Ludwig’s Maximilian University Munich, Germany. He is currently working as a Medical Technology Domain Specialist with Skill-Lync.
