About the Workshop

Agenda of the webinar:

  • Introduction to numerical methods in CFD
  • A basic introduction to MATLAB as a tool for numerical methods
  • Solving the 1-D advection equation using MATLAB
  • Discussion on Converging-Diverging nozzle and solving for flow analysis through CD nozzle using MATLAB.

About the Instructor:

  • Noble Sharma is one of our resident numerical CFD experts who has worked extensively on developing numerical models for various application-based problems. He's worked extensively on applying numerical approaches towards areas such as topology optimisation, optimisation of heat exchanger using gradient-based optimiser, thermo-hydraulic optimisation of the plate heat exchanger, evaluation of entropy generation in fundamental conduction with variable thermal conductivity,
  • M.Tech (gold medalist) in Thermal Engineering and B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Worked as a systems engineer at DRDL-Hyderabad, where he developed numerical models for 6DOF simulations using C/C++
  • Strong fundamentals in numerical CFD and comes from 2 years of teaching experience.
