A Quick Overview

This course deals with the suspension analysis of a half car model, also with the fundamentals of suspension modelling.

This three-month-long course will help you in understanding the mathematical modelling of a suspension system and how to apply it on an ADAMS car solver, so that you can simulate the real-life behavior of a half car model.

You will learn advanced Multibody Dynamics concepts such as; wheel travel simulation, steering wheel simulation, and others. Basic knowledge of Vehicle and Multibody Dynamics will be useful. This course will help you to understand the use of a solver for specific applications, simulate the model, and post-process the result. At the end of this course, you will be able to start your career in the field of vehicle dynamics/motorsport engineering.

Students who are participating in FSAE and BAJA competitions can learn the fundamentals of suspension design for their vehicle.
